What is the best way to screen share a Mac with an LG TV?
There is a third party app that allows you to connect over your wi-fi to the LG Smart TV or an Apple TV would work also.

Thank you very much. I have bought a Chromecast dongle that works well.
You treat the tv as any external display, use a cable to connect the 2 devices together.
Thank you very much. I bought the app and it seemed to work, but now I get sound but no picture. I have turned tv, modem and computer off and on again but still no luck. I would be grateful for any advice.
I will have to go and play with mine and see if I can duplicate what you are doing but right off hand is your TV set to internet on the inputs? I have never had any problems with mine although I have a Panasonic TV and Mirror for Panasonic. The app developer has support. Maybe you could contact them, describe your problem and see what they have to offer as far as getting the app to work properly. If it worked initially then it should still work, possibly a minor setting wrong.
