How do I screen share on my MacBook Air on the Samsung smart tv

Your Samsung Smart TV must be Airplay compatible. If not then you are not going to be able to directly use the screen sharing feature with that TV. The other way to accomplish this is by adding the Apple TV device to your setup. You would then screen mirror thought the Apple TV device on to your Smart TV.
