Right earbud on Apple EarPods doesn't work

Background: I was talking to my friends on the Discord mobile app while playing computer games with them with the Apple EarPods plugged in through the lightning cable, and when I went up to reach for something out of my chair, the EarPods wire was actually caught on a table drawer handle just right below my arms, causing the phone to just glide off the table while the earbuds tugged onto my ears.

Classic case of "wire gets stuck on something and everything falls", but when I put my earbuds back on, only the left earbud is emitting any audio and the right earbud is dead quiet. It's really irritating because I don't want to speak to my friends and receive a really discomforting ASMR with the left earbud just pressed up all against my left ear, and with them using particularly loud, low quality microphones, every high frequency they make (for example, an S noise) just becomes super shrill and hurts my ear. Maybe it's an effect of me having to boost the volume on the phone to max to make up for the loss of sound of my right earbud. Please help, my phone is practically my only form of verbal communication with them and I got to get in the game soon.
