Macbook Pro 2019- Error 2006F

Hi, My Macbook Pro has gone into recovery mode. I tried following the instructions in https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7769186 .

Steps i followed:

Restart the computer. Immediately after the chime hold down the Command-Option-R keys until a globe appears.
The globe then shows an error code that says " Apple.com/support2006F "

Machine is not connected to wifi yet. Am not sure what to do to connect to wifi at this stage.

I understand while in macOS Recovery you're getting an error that says "Apple.com/support2006F". I'm happy to help you out with this.

It sounds like you've booted into Internet Recovery. This type of macOS Recovery would require you to connect to the internet via Wi-Fi or ethernet. If you're unable to connect to ethernet and you aren't being prompted to connect to a Wi-Fi network, move your pointer to the top of the screen and then choose a network from the Wi-Fi menu. You also may have the option to use regular macOS Recovery to restore your Mac rather than Internet Recovery. This support article explains how: About macOS Recovery.
