I have a mac server with two partitions. It seems that Time Machine is only backing up one of them. Is there a way to make it back up both? Should I merge those two partitions back together?

In System Preferences > Time Machine > Advanced > This is a list of items that will be excluded. Most likely this other partition will be displayed here. Remove it and Time Machine should now include that partition’ s contents.

I have already tried that. The second partition is not on the exclude list.
