Microphone from QC35 (bluetooth headset) does not work on Windows (Bootcamp)

hi, I tried it but doesn't work for me. Also, I don't think the thread pertains to mic issues because I don't see it anywhere in the thread

Do usb headset microphones work fine in bootcamp?

Didn't tested usb headset, but usb webcam with microphone - the microphone works on it.

I tried a usb headset with mic and It detects the mic but there is no input when you test it

Same issue here on 2018 Mac Mini.

If I get a chance, I will try and test this on a 2018 Mini. My experience is that this is broken since the 2015 Macs arrived.

Yes. AirPods Pro microphone does not work in Windows, but works in macOS.

2018 MBP and have the same issue with the microphone not working on any Bluetooth headphones. Other than a dongle there still is no solution?

I have this issue as well. I'm in desperate need for a fix. My built in microphone does not work either.

The BT/Wireless radio is the same device. This call looks for a BT/Wireless coexistence mode setting (Bluetooth Collaboration setting on the Network Adapter), which is internally handled on newer Macs. On older Macs (2013/2014 models), this is a manual setting, and is typically set to Auto or Enabled, typically on 7.35.x.x series drivers. The underlying issue seems to be a power management issue. Both cannot operate at full power without causing heat issues. An external BT dongle seems to be causing a power overload, instead of lowering the power of internal radios, which indicates a firmware bug.
