Blue bubbles are using Apple's iMessage system. Green messages are using SMS text services operated by the cell service companies. If you are texting someone with an android phone you would see green bubbles.
HaHa because my husbands non i phone sometimes doesn t receive my texts! This time i text him first, no response...
He text me and said he never got the original text in "green" bubble.

If he previously had an iPhone there may be a problem with his settings. On your iPhone go to Settings > Messages and make sure Send as SMS is turned on. Be advised that the cell service providers SMS texting is under a lot of strain right now and in some cases it have vastly slowed the delivery of messages.
