How can you remove residue of chewing gum from the iSight camera?

I covered the iSight camera with chewing gum (very irresponsible), forgot about it and closed the laptop. This pressed the gum into the camera. Now, I cant see anything but a blur. How could I clean it? does i need to be brought into apple repair place?

I tried to clean it with the alcohol?

Any suggestion would be appreciated

How to clean my MacBook Air camera? My MacBook Air camera got blu tack on it and is now badly smudged. I expected there to some small remnants blocking the camera but instead it's equally smudged across the whole lens, and the camera quality looks as though it's really, really out of focus. I've tried cleaning it with a microfibre cloth but it's not making any difference. Does anyone know the most effective way to safely clean the camera, or whether this sounds like a different issue?

Small crack under camera Wondering why the 16” MacBook Pro screen near the camera cracks so easily. I’ve read about this and seems to happen often to many customers. My laptop doesn’t leave my desk. I’ve been extremely careful with it and was shocked to find a tiny crack near my camera one day. When I touched the crack the whole screen went black for good. Shouldn’t Apple cover this? Seems like a defect to me.
