I would make an investment in a hearing aid cleaning kit from your pharmacy. If you don't want to do that there is a surefire remedy that was posted here back when the AirPods first came out: put the speaker grill end in your mouth and suck.
I use a brush designed for cleaning hearing aids. They also make little suction devices for hearing aids.
ETA: deggie beat me to it. I think he may have been the person who gave me the original advice.
