How can I stop receiving unusual or illegitimate emails from unrecognized apple ID users indicating that I purchased something online using my apple ID account or I did use my apple ID account to buy items online. Please help me. Thank you.

Filters and The Safe List:
Without creating a new account, use filters and a Safe List. Contact your eMail provider about creating these.
Transferring Between Accounts:
If you want to solve this 100%, create a new eMail account. Then export your current eMail Address’ contacts and emails to your computer. Next, import them to the new eMail account. Contact your eMail provider about performing this.

Also, select to receive eMail from none other than those who are not in your contact list.
Only by abandoning your current email address and using a new one. That will work for as long as it takes spammers to pick up your new address, which is usually less than a couple of months.
I didn’t post my email to any public website. That’s why I’m wondering how the scammers got my email. I want this to stop right away. But I don’t know how to go apple store and ask for help due to quarantine and lockdown.
So do I need to close my current email address? But I can’t because it is my email address since I started using internet and it is the only email address that I gave to all my job applications too.
There isn't anything Apple can do for you. Some companies have been known to sell/publish email addresses they collect. Apple can't stop that.
Without deleting the account, you May have to endure the emails. However, to aid in slowing the flow: never respond to any of the emails. Never click unsubscribe to any of the emails. Don’t post your email address on a public website.
