cannot get into email

I recently changed an email account password. It works on everything except my MacBook Pro. I change it is Account Settings, but still will not let me get into my emails.

Quit Mail and relaunch— and test.


Reboot the machine — and test

Takes noticeable longer to get to the login screen, does a 5-15 minute disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, including dynamic loader cache, etc. Login and test, rebbot and test.
