Can itunes put iphone backup on D drive

Backup stops with error message to the right "because not enough free space is available on this computer". IiTunes must be using C: drive which is full, instead of D: drive which is 1TB used of 3TB. Or perhaps iTunes is checking the C: drive instead of the D: drive where the backups are:

D:\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities, pete_nyc!

I understand you're seeing a message indicating that there is not enough storage on your computer to backup your iPhone. I'd be happy to provide information to help you address this.

Have a look at the suggestion for addressing this issue here: If you can't back up your iOS or iPadOS device to a computer or restore it from a backup

"If an alert says there's not enough disk space

If a message says there’s not enough disk space when you try to back up your device, free some space on your Mac or PC. If you still see a disk-space error after you free enough space, contact Apple Support."

Have a great day!
