What did the email say. If it addressed to "Dear Customer" or something similar, it is probably a scam, phishing email. Can you take a screen shot of the email message and post it?
See the info below for steps to help identify bogus emails.
It is a phishing attempt. Do not respond. Do not divulge any personal or financial information. You can use the address below to forward the suspect email message, as an attachment to Apple.
If you provided your Apple ID and password at the bogus site, change your password immediately.

Definitely a scam email. Simply delete it.
Go to apple.com right now and change your Apple ID password. I made the same mistake recently.
Also a scam. If you have not responded to the message, there is no harm. Simply delete it, then read the various Apple articles linked above.

Can we assume you are NOT the same person that started this thread?
If that is the case, use the info in my initial post to change your Apple ID password.
If you keep an eye out for the clues, you’ll be fine.
Bad spelling.
Bad grammar.
Bad punctuation.
Referring to you as Dear Customer.
An incorrect name and address on the receipt.
You’re quite welcome.
Stay alert for such messages, as the scammers are always trying new things to steal our personal and financial information.
