Saved IPad Pro documents keep changing format when saved on iCloud. Very Frustrating

So, I save a pages document (monthly newsletter) on my icloud using my iPad Pro. When I reopen it from iCloud the formatting is messed up. I fix it, save it, view it multiple times to make sure it is correctly formatted. When I reopen it again 30 minutes later, the formatting is messed up again.

The only thing I can that is happening is that the document may still be open on my iMac, but could that affect the formatting of something saved in the iCloud?

Any help would be great.
