Mac OSX is up to date, but System Preferences update notification badge still says '1'. When I click on it, Software Update says 'Your Mac is up to date ...'. How do I clear the badge?

Software Update Badge - macOS 10.15.4 I updated my iMac this weekend from Mojave 10.14.6 to Catalina 10.15.4 which overall went very well. One thing I noticed is that the red badge on the system preference icon is still saying I have an OS update even though the software check says I'm up to date which I know I am. Maybe this is a bug with the update process. How do I get the badge to turn off?

Update badge showing for macOS Catalina? Hi. I'm running macOS Mojave on a 15" MacBook Pro. I regularly check for and apply Security and software updates, and am glad for badge reminders for those. However, even after applying those updates, I still see a badge reminder, and I see the only update offered is macOS Catalina. Is there a way I can ask my Mac to ignore this particular offering (and clear the red badge) while still keeping me advised of other critical updates?
