Disk utility and OSX backup

Hi I am running an OSX 10.11 I wanted to erase my drive and reinstall factory settings as I’m trying to set my old MacBook up for my Son.. during COVID -19


when I try to reinstall the OSX it does not exist.?


I have provided screenshots.


please Help me;)

Try internet recovery:

during boot press and hold command+option+r and you’ll see a spinning globe. Then connect to your wifi and it’ll download the latest version of OS X or macOS your Mac is compatible with. Then try reinstalling OS X or macOS again.
