USB C > USB C hub. Why can't I find any/

For my Retina 12" MacBook I would like a simple USB C hub that has 2 - 4 USB C ports on it; no USB A ports. An HDMI port would be okay but not necessary. I thought it would be easy to find, but after going through page after page on Amazon, I can't find anything other than hubs loaded with ports I don't need or want. Any recommendations?

If you've read details among the article links posted above

there are a few valid items to consider. ~ And the upside to

getting something superior past today's need; most can be

be still useful in the future. Even with older or newer gear!

Your SSDs need power and data. Look up USB-C specs.

For what you've got, a few listed there; some dual duty.

(A better portable mac such as macbook/pro, even older;

has more going for it than your later build macbook 12")

Some of docks near $40-$55. are about $9 for same, from amazon.

If you are handy with tools, you may try building your own! LOL

In any event, as a fellow mac-user with 'no irons in the fire.' Given

informed choices, I'm not on commission nor selling anything; not

on anyone's payroll. Just me and my 4 old Macs at 3AM in AK!

Sometimes a call to customer support at OWC can be helpful.

Even if you aren't buying from them. ~ That's why they're good.

OWC's 10-port/12-port docks w/ extra power, etc are future-proof.

This covers most info to discern between these port shapes.

I have 3 external USB3 drives. They all came with USB-A to USB3 cables. I have 1 USB2 external DAC. It came with a USB-A to USB-B cable. I have two digital cameras. They came with USB-A to USB-B cables. My iPhones came with USB-A to Lightning cables. So far, at no point have needed a USB-C to USB-C cable.
