iPhone 7 Plus - Home Button Stopped Clicking :(
I've had this phone for about three years. Today I noticed the home button (circular button at bottom of phone) stopped clicking. How do I get it back?

Hey there, silver_mica.
If you haven't done so already, check your haptic settings: Change iPhone sounds and vibrations
"Turn haptic feedback off or on
If this setting is on, turn if off, restart your iPhone. Then turn it back on to see if that helps.
If you feel like the issue is related to hardware, the best thing to do is to Contact - Official Apple Support.
Warmly.

Hi, silver_mica.
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. I understand that your Home button no longer clicks. I’d like to point you in the right direction.
To start, please adjust your settings using these steps: Adjust settings for the Home or top button
If your Home Button still doesn’t work, try these steps: If a button or switch isn't working on your iPhone or iPad
Best wishes.
I used the word "clicking" to describe what I now believe to be called the haptic system. That's what quit working. It's probably a hardware failure.
