I've just upgraded to 10.15.4 and all of a sudden I can't transfer music I've just downloaded from a company that wants me to review it to my I-Pod Classic. All the other music in library can, but when I drag and drop these files to my i-Pod the device won't accept the songs.

iPod classic cannot take content from the Apple Music service, or anything that is currently in the cloud. iPod classic supports the following audio formats: AAC (16 to 320 Kbps), Protected AAC (from iTunes Store), MP3 (16 to 320 Kbps), MP3 VBR, Audible (formats 2, 3, and 4), Apple Lossless, WAV, and AIFF. I suspect these are also limited to 16-bit samples and a sample rate not in excess of 48kHz. Check the format/quality of the content, it may not be in a supported format. Finder may silently ignore anything it doesn't want to copy over rather than report a problem. iTunes used to do the same.
