I posted this question today as I heard from someone Apple had recent updates but wasn't sure of what it consisted of.
No, I don't believe Lawrence is right with that statement as I was seeking an answer, not an opinion telling me I should get a Samsung. I also say this not as an intentional disrespectful response, but as a frustrated response on my part to those who so commonly respond this way. Anytime I am able to show a loyal, long-term Apple user many concerns, side-by-side with Android, they quickly switch from the attitude of your crazy, to "Oh, wow. I get it now. That would be awesome if Apple did that!" I understand Apple is at fault for the lack of technology, not the end users, and especially the end users on these platforms trying to help others. So for those of you with the prompt responses, thank you! This is helpful!
Now as for your suggestion of giving feedback to Apple, I unfortunately have no faith in "Apple Feedback." I say this based on my personal experience as well as others who have shared their experiences. These concerns I mention are just a few I have given feedback directly to Apple, on more than one occasion, for over 3 years now. I have even provided screen shots and detailed explanations. I personally know several others who have done the same in hopes of a change with the last 3 iPhone models. I myself and the few others I know are of course not the only ones expressing these changes. Result - nothing. The teams and decision makers at Apple of course are aware of what other products can do. Apple simply chooses not to care. This is the reason for my frustrated comment regarding my hope that someday Apple will actually care, listen and do something. Oh well. Nothing we can do. Cheers all. 🤙
