iMac trackpad lost haptic feedback
my iMac's trackpad has stopped giving haptic feedback, i.e. "the click" response, after I updated MacOS to 10.15.4. Every after finger gestures are working normally. I have tried turning the trackpad on and off to no benefit. I have also tried unpairing and pairing it to no benefit.
I have reviewed the trackpad settings and the "Force click and haptic feedback" setting is still set as active.
I am not sure whether this is a hardware issue or a software one.
