Music subscription

I have an Apple Music subscription that I pay for my grandchildren on Apple Music Family. I am trying to ad my daughter in law to this account. I do not use Apple and have not been able to add her to our account. Will it be easier to cancel this music account and just start another? I have spent probably 4-5 hours trying to accomplish this but no luck. I'm about ready to just chuck the Apple and move to another service but my granddaughter is horrified at loosing her cache of tunes. Please help me. I'm 70 years old and don't deal with this very well.

From what you described, I assume you already did all of this:

Get an Apple Music family subscription - Apple Support

for your grandchildren. For your daughter, all you should simply have to do is invite her to join your Family Sharing Plan and have her accept your invitation. See the "Invite people to join your family" and "Join a family group" sections in:

Set up Family Sharing - Apple Support

You didn't say, but there is a limitation of 6 members to a plan.

My grandson finally figured this out. Problem was I was only the payer. Didn't have me own I phone.
