Payment

Hello,

I am considering getting the new iPhone 11 pro max and I have a question about the payment. I am aware that there are two ways to pay for the phone, either do it in one payment or have monthly payments. I was wondering if it is possible to pay an amount and then continue with the monthly payments? For instance, paying $500 and then paying each month? I hope my question is clear.
