Mail app problem with gmail accounts

I just have a problem with mail app on macOS Catalina.

Works great with my @me.com accounts, but goes offline within a few minutes with my gmail accounts.

I tried to create a new password per app with Google accounts, but my Mac just tell me that for Google accounts I should put password via Safari.

The result, if I need to use my gmail accounts whitin 10 minutes, I have to insert the password for each my 5 account and the relative sms code and delete 5 inbox email than warn me about an access from an app.

I love mail app, I used it for the past 15 years, but this issue is so annoying and don’t let me work.

Everything works great on mail app on iOS.

Can someone please help me?
