MacBook air poor display quality for macOS Catalina

I have a early 2015 MacBook Air and updated to macOS Catalina. However, display quality is very poor especially for Safari. Characters have faint color and are difficult to read. In order to improve display quality, do I have any options? You can see the picture below:

Have you tried turning off subpixel font smoothing? You can do that by entering this in the terminal:

defaults write -g CGFontRenderingFontSmoothingDisabled -bool YES
