I have been using FocusMagic with Photoshop on my iMac for about a year. It still worked when I migrated up to Catalina a few months ago. But, sometime after the last update to Catalina 10.15.4 I started getting this error message every time I try to use the plugin. Now it is totally unusable.
Any suggestions?

Okay, try the following:
If neither work, the let us know and we can have you do an EtreCheck report on the computer.
Is it a 64 bit application? If it is 32 bit it will not work in Catalina, you would need to contact the developer to see if they have a 64 bit version. Catalina only runs 64 bit apps.
I probably should have mentioned that I contacted FocusMagic support first. They suggested trying to 'allow' it under the Security & Privacy settings in System Performance. But, there didn't appear to be anywhere that would let me pick it and allow it. This was after picking all instances of the plugin file in Finder and clicking 'open' to get it to be recognized. I also downloaded a new plugin file from the source.
I had tried right clicking on the plugin from Finder. But when I click ‘open’ I get a pop-up that says I don’t have an app to open it with and gives me the options of choosing an app, canceling, or going to the App Store. There don't appear to be any apps to open it, so I end up picking cancel. No luck...
App Store and identified developers is picked.
Oh, my fault...plug-in. :(
After more research it looks like only FocusMagic can help get it past Apple.
