Airpods not working

I have had my Airpods since October (2019) and have never had an issue before until now. When I open the case my Airpods do not respond, the light doesn’t come on, they don’t connect, nothing works. I tried to disconnect from them and reconnect again but it did not work. I take care of mine and have never had this problem before, how can I fix it?
