Power button not working after iOS 13.4 update (iPhone SE)

After updating to iOS 13.4, the power button has stopped working and does not respond at all for locking the phone or for switching it off. The phone is an iPhone SE.

I have read about AssistiveTouch and how it can be used to turn an iPhone off without using the power button, but I'm worried it might not turn on again! Can anyone confirm that plugging an iPhone SE into a charger or computer will switch it on without having to press the power button?

Thanks for any information anyone can share on this.

I think it's unlikely the phone would turn on from a completely off state just by touching the screen, but from what I see online it should turn on by plugging it into a computer or charger. Can anyone verify this on an iPhone SE?

Same here. Also it automatically showed the power button confirmation without touching anything. It always requires the passcode because it cannot read the finger print.
