Iphone 10 Xs Max not charging through the lightening cable

Hey everyone, I've been battling this issue where my phone just stopped charing via the cable but I can still push data through it, iTunes totally sees it. I can wirelessly charge no problem but no cable charging. I've done everything you can think of to resolve it: restored it as a new device in DFU mode after all other restore options failed, I've changed cables, adapters everything, different computers. Nothing works. The weird thing is that if I turn it off then plug it into the charger it senses the current and turns on but won't charge. It's out it warrantee, any ideas?

Thanks-

John

That was the very first thing I checked. Everything was fine. No debris. Then I went to full restore. The strange thing is that it does send data (which means the port is working) and it does draw current if off the plugged in, so something between the OS initialization and OS fully loaded there is something turning the power function off on the port. Seems like a software issue to me but clearly tied to my specific hardware... which I know is unlikely so with all that I think it’s likely the power controller on the main board which sucks cause I won’t be changing that out.
