Wireless Keyboard - pairing issue

I have an older Apple wireless keyboard with AA batteries.

The keyboard has been working fine for the last few years till today.

The keyboard stopped pairing, and then wouldn't pair again.

The issue seems to be that the it won't allow me to entering the pairing code.

The pairing code flashes up for a second and comes back saying that:

"The pairing code doesn't match"

Any help would be great. Thanks.

Hi, thanks for getting back to me.

I'm connecting it to a MacBook Pro 2012, I've also tried it on a iPad and it has the same response.

It endeavours to pair - then flashes up to enter the Passkey for a second. You don't have a chance to enter anything.

It then states that "The pairing code doesn't match" and refuses to pair.

Any help would be great, the keyboard has worked flawlessly for years up till this point.

Thanks.
