2007 MacBook lighting issue

Hello!

I have a 2007 MacBook which works great but I noticed that compared to my 2008 MacBook the apple logo is much dimmer and there is some lighting streak around the screen. Is this normal on these models or is it an issue? It's not a huge problem for me but it would be good to know what is it.

There are some circuits to supply power to the display, such as inverter and others;

where some of those could have gone weak over time, they'd be due replacement.

Given the vintage of these, unless you'd fair technical skills or found repair tech of

good value; no sense in expenditures above a few hundred $ ~ for good example.

There are online resellers w/ repaired examples for about cost of parts/labor, now.
