How do I safely remove "Apple wants to make changes" pop up?

iMac 21.5", macOS 10.14

Notification: "update Apple ID settings" Recently a red circle appeared on my "system settings" icon, like if there is a software update, but it says "update Apple ID settings". I don't use an Apple ID, is there anyway I can dismiss this notification or do I just live with the red circle now?

You've installed malware/adware. MalwareBytes for Mac can remove it.

https://www.malwarebytes.com/mac/

It's free to use and easily uninstalled from its menus when you're done with it.
