My iPhone 8 Plus camera quality seems very low at night and I can see dots on the screen

I purchased my phone in December 2019. my camera quality seems very low at night and I can see dots on the screen but my friends iPhone doesn't have issues like that with the camera. also it overheats like crazy when connected to wifi or when its just sitting out there and the heat is too much that I cant even hold the phone. battery capacity drops like crazy too for the past three months it dropped by 5% and I only charge the phone once a day and its also not until 100%. unexpected restarts occurs without notifications. And touch screen goes out of response sometimes and needs a restart to make it alright. the touch id sensor doesn't respond most of the times too.

when I contacted apple they asked me to restore the phone and update to IOS 13.4 and I did that too but the issues still occur. what should I do. as as I bought the ip8 plus very recent and its not even 4months. Should I ask for a replacement or a refund? Please reply me as soon as possible

Hello hashini128,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're having several issues with the your iPhone 8. I'd be happy to share information that may help.

When you restored your iPhone as instructed, did you restore a backup to your device immediately, or did you have a chance to test the issues while your iPhone was set up as new? If you immediately restored a backup, try restoring again, and this time, set your iPhone up as new, and test the issues: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings. Be sure you have a current backup prior to restoring, as this will erase all the data on your iPhone.

Also, concerning the temperature issue you're experiencing, check out this article: Keeping iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch within acceptable operating temperatures. Please reply with whether or not you ever see the temperature warning as described in the article.

Take care.

Hello hashini128,

Thank you for the additional information.

When you set your iPhone up as new, did you notice if the issues continued without your backup restored?

You mentioned that your battery is draining more quickly than expected. If you navigate to Settings > Battery > Battery Health > Maximum Capacity, what is listed there? You may also want to take a look at this article for more information: iPhone Battery and Performance.

Take care.

Hi

yes I restored it as a new phone and used it and later restored my backup. And nope most of my major issues isn’t solved. Now my phone needs 2-3 time charging a day. And no I haven’t received any temperature warning messages yet. My phone get over heated when Its charging or connected to WiFi and lying somewhere on the table in my room or using the phone on a video for 15-20min I cannot even hold the phone then.
