Try doing a factory reset. If you restore from a backup, you might restore the problem.

Restore to Factory setting.      

Clarification question - did you try using the Phone after doing a factory reset and before restoring from a backup up to see if it worked properly when set up as a brand new phone?

You might want to consider changing your password and making sure it is a strong one. You can also add 2 Factor Authentication to your account for more security. If the attempts continue, you might want to consider a name change.
