Lawrence ~ How I wish I could help you with that one. It’s a horrible time we’re all facing! This afternoon was the first time I have ever posted an answer. I did 2 separate posts. The FIRST one gives a long detail explaining the procedure. Once I realized that I couldn’t figure out how to copy and paste the products Apple Support had posted, I did the 2nd post. One is Disinfecting iPhone, Etc. The other is Disinfecting iPhone. I notice you are a Level 10. Congratulations and thank you on all you do to help people like me. I hope you find my post helpful. Stay safe!!!
Tried to reply to and you, but post would not go through. Kept trying, but no luck. Now, I can’t find Jeremy’s reply. Not trying to be a pain, just new at this.
Jeremy, I’d give Lawrence a definite This Solved My Question. To you & Lawrence, my 1st post, Disinfecting iPhone, Etc. gives a lot of extra info. Ex.: *VERY IMPORTANT ~ SQUEEZE OUT EXCESS LIQUID FROM WIPES BEFORE CLEANING!!! ALL directly from Apple Support Lady, Ashia. EXTREMELY cautious writing ALL told to me. I’d NEVER post anything that wasn’t 100 0/0 fact. Reading my other post, includes a lot of Apple products that I own. Info for ALL models of same products. I have no purpose to get points or whatever. Just wanted to help out with situation we’re all facing. Keep safe!
To reply to a post, if you received a notification in email click on the title of the post in the email - In this case “Disinfecting iPhone” and the post will open in the forum. From there you can just click Reply.
Thanks for advice. I tried that, but when opening the email notifications, they came right back to you. However, on one try, it showed Jeremy’s reply sort of off screen on top of yours. I finally thought that perhaps he had signed out, if that makes any sense. I do know that I just tried messaging my sister a few pics a little while ago and either there was an update or something is going wrong in our area. I am very familiar with doing that. I do appreciate all of your help.
Here’s Apple’s recommendation—>How to clean your Apple products - Apple Support
Apple mostly agrees with you.
Now the only problem is where do you get any of those products?
Thank you so very much for your kind words. I am definitely not even a centimeter of your expertise, but I will help if I ever can. You put a big smile on my face.
Figured it out. Jeremy HAD signed out. I’m learning. I’ll try him tomorrow. Thanks so much for all your help. Stay Safe!
