I have just bought the new iPhone11Pro and it practically begged me for my Apple ID and password from inside the box!
I've changed my phone regularly these past few years and my Apple ID is still the same , it might be worth just removing your old phone's details whilst you're up in the cloud and put in the new phone metadata , so that if you're ever unlucky enough to have to use 'Find My...." its up to date and also. when of course using Two Factor ID

Thank you I have the pro max but my storage is still going off of my old phone. And I felt like I should not have to change my iCloud email. Just trying to figure how to totally disconnect the old phone.
