My iPad Air 2 is not compatible with Apple measure app

I went on to the App Store and typed in measure and it said this app requires specific features not available on this device what does that mean

iPad Air 2, iOS 13

It means the Measure app is NOT compatible with your iPad model.

Your iPad model lacks the necessary hardware needed for the needed iOS software to use the Measure app.

Namely your iPad model cannot use ARKit 2.
