Apple TV Connection Surround Sound
Does anyone know how to connect Apple TV 4 to surround sound amplifier without the optical cable - get picture with the HDMI, however, no sound?

If your amp has HDMI, then that should be enough.
If your amp needs optical, then connect your TV to your amp using optical. Almost all modern TVs support this.
If you need optical directly from the Apple TV for some reason, then use an HDMI Audio Extractor in between.
If you connect through HDMI only, and you get no sound, then try adjusting the Audio Format.
