Apple tv doesn’t work

Hello everybody,

I’m having a problem with the apple tv app on my Samsung tv and my fire tv stick.

It was working on both devices, but now it doesn’t.

I tried cleaning cache and data, tried to reinstall the app without success.

It showing just the apple tv logo.

What can I do?

Thanks for the update. If those steps didn’t help, try to sign out of the Apple TV+ service on your smart TV and Fire TV stick. If you have any issues signing out, follow the steps under ‘If you're signed in to a smart TV or streaming device that you no longer have access to’ from this article:


Set up the Apple TV app on your smart TV or streaming device


Then restart your devices and sign back in. If you still have issues after that, go through the steps in this link for issues using this on your Samsung Smart TV:


Apple TV app is not working


Then go through this link for issues with Apple TV on your Fire stick:

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. I understand you’re experiencing some issues with the Apple TV app on your Samsung TV and Fire TV stick. I’ll be happy to help.


For both devices, make sure the latest firmware has been installed. You’ll need to refer to the manufacturer for info on how to do this. Also, check to make sure these devices are supported using the steps here:

If you’ve changed regions lately, make sure the Apple TV app is available in your area:


Availability of Apple Media Services


You mentioned removing the app from your devices and reinstalling, see if resetting the app has any impact on this. This article has more info:
