Using Apple Watch for location tracking of dementia (Alzheimer's) patients.

Has anyone used applications that do geo-fencing for the Apple Watch -- sending notifications to a caregiver's phone if the wearer of the watch leaves a safe zone?

The only one I've found is BoundaryCare. Looks good, but I haven't found many reviews of it. Are there others?

I'm researching the possibilities to see if I (or anyone else in my family) can track a loved one suffering from dementia who has the watch on my iPhone, in case they wander away from the house. I know there are apps available like this for tracking kids, but I'm looking to see if the Apple Watch can work independently without the phone on them. Thanks

Apple 4 watch fall detection Does it work with Massachusetts 911 system? Do operators really respond to an automated message from the watch? Is there training needed for the logistical information that the watch gives them? Is the longitude and latitude shared with the emergency contacts? Is there concrete evidence this really works?
