Apple 4 watch fall detection

Does it work with Massachusetts 911 system? Do operators really respond to an automated message from the watch? Is there training needed for the logistical information that the watch gives them? Is the longitude and latitude shared with the emergency contacts? Is there concrete evidence this really works?

There have been several reports of successful events both in the press/online, and here in Apple Support Communities. Just Google Apple Watch Fall Detection and dig through the hits. We don’t know exactly what information is passed, but it follows national standard protocols for each country, and it obviously works. There is a similar system implemented in many new cars and my guess is they all use the same systems which emergency operators understand.
