Mac Mini Core i5-4278U 2.6GHz 8GB RAM 1TB HDD Mac OS Late 2014 A1347
Is this Mac Mini still a good computer for Photoshop and light Final Cut Pro.
I will be replacing the stock drive with a SSD.
Thanks for the input

The SSD will help, but the 8GB of non-upgradable RAM could be an issue running those App's.
Personally I would look for a configure to order 2014 with a min. of 16GB of RAM or a 2018 that you can actually dissemble and upgrade the RAM in.

The base 2014 models are averaging between $250 to $350 around here, so that is a pretty good deal.
So you really won’t loose from upgrading the HDD to an SSD and giving it a try. Because you can always resell it for more with the SSD upgrade.
Thanks for the reply. This computer is being offered to me for $230.00.
I tough it would be a good deal.
I understand that the memory is soldered and I can not upgrade, however I'll not be multitasking.
I can't spend too much money now.
Thank you again,
Yes, I wish I could buy a new one now but things are not too well as far as my job goes.
I already have a spare Samsung SSD and two external USB 3 drives that I can use.
I also checked and it seems I can install Catalina but I'll stay with Mojave for now.
I never had a Mac mini before and I was also wondering about how fast this specific model is if anyone can give me such information it would be great.
How this Mac Mini would compare to my old Mac Pro?
