Group FaceTime

I am on my iPad mini and I would like to go on a Group FaceTime! It lets me get on then FaceTime call but it doesn’t show me the other peoples faces or mine and it doesn’t give me the option to show my face or to turn on my camera it only says speaker how do I get this to work?

Group Facetime XR I just bought an Iphone XR in April 2019 and whenever I am facetiming someone and then try to add someone else to the facetime, it does not allow me to (the option is there but it won't let me press it), therefore I have to hang up on the person I am already facetiming and start with a group one from the beginning. You need an iPad Mini 4 or later for video in a Group FaceTime call.
