Cannot download songs from Apple Music

I am unable to download songs even though I am connected to the Internet and have an Apple Music subscription. First of all, album artworks in my library do not load, however they do load in other tabs of my Music app such as Browse or For You. In an attempt to download songs so that I can enjoy them offline, they seem to start downloading but eventually stop after little or no progress. There is no error message. I have restarted my iPhone many times and I have turned both Apple Music and iCloud Music Library off and on again multiple times to no avail. I have also emailed Apple Support but for no I don't have an answer yet. Any idea what I could do?

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are unable to download content from Apple Music for offline listening. First, make sure your iPhone is up to date, as the updates contain stability fixes that can resolve issues like yours, as well as important security updates to keep your iPhone safe.

Update the iOS software on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Next, check your storage on your iPhone and that you don't have Optimize Storage enabled in Settings > Music and other relevant steps from these Apple resources:
