How to repair a forgotten Bluetooth device

While trying to pair my Bluetooth earbuds to someone else’s device, without knowing the consequences I clicked the “ forget device “ button. I assumed I could just repair it but I was wrong. I powered my phone off and on again, I’ve turned my Bluetooth off and on again, I have even tried resetting my network settings but it didn’t help. I’ve read other people’s discussions on this topic and the person just replied , “ put the device in pairing mode” but these earbuds of mine are always in pairing mode and there is no way to turn it of or on besides putting them in the case and taking them out again ( which I have tried ). I just got these earbuds and don’t want them to go to waste. I thought about resetting all settings but I would like to know the list of content that would be reset during the process. Please Help! The earbuds are called Jbl 220 wireless earbuds.
