Apple TV iCloud password not working

My Apple TV iCloud password, which is the same as my Apple ID password, is not working after many attempts. I changed it in November and now I want to rent a movie, and the password keeps failing. What should I do to fix this problem so that I can rent a movie? Thank you.

Apple ID password that works on other devices does not work on AppleTV Apple account ID password which works on IMac, IPad and IPhone does not work on Apple TV. The Apple TV is not new. This seemed to have started when I got a new iPhone and was forced to accept a free trial when I already was paying for an Apple TV. My key chain shows my Apple password updated in 2021, which is correct. I found a screen on my Apple TV account which I cannot replicate that says the password was updated in 2022 about the time I bought the new iPhone. It did not let me see that password so I cannot change it. This is very frustrating. So I get three free months of Apple TV but cannot use it.
