Inaccurate move calories.

i did a 90 min Peloton ride using the watch’s indoor cycle workout. It captured the workout’s active calorie burn at 1544. My total move goal for the day is 1414. Why in the world would the watch not accurately reflect my efforts?

The first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

The next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup:

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I did force restart both prior. That didn’t do it either. I’m not going to unpair at the moment.


im not sure that would fix it anyway. Logically, the watch captured the workout and the normal daily calories. I’m confused as to why the consolidation/roll up wasn’t accurate. I mean it’s off by 1,000 or so for the day.


This really has me vexed and honestly pretty grumpy to see that effort wasted and not logged accurately.
