Bluetooth pairing - no go on iPhone 4

I have a brand-spankin' new iPhone 4 and I can't get any of my bluetooth devices paired. I can connect, but cannot pair the devices. The iPhone never prompts me for a pairing password. Devices include a Motorola headset, a BluBridge, and a Jabra Cruiser. I can use the devices, but I have to reconnect each time I turn one on or enable BlueTooth on the iPhone.

I have solved my own problem. I replaced the Microsoft-installed Broadcom bluetooth drivers on the Macbook Air with the Lenovo driver 7zbv18ww.exe (version 6.2.1.2900) dated 24/08/2010. My iPhone 4 now pairs to my Macbook Air and in Device Manager, all but one of the long list of 'bluetooth peripheral device - driver not found' has gone.

Just tested Internet tethering and got a connection.

I just got an iPhone 4S and I was able to pair my phone to my Jabra Cruiser 2 without any problems. I followed the instructions on Jabra's web site and was able to pair my phone with the Cruiser the first time I tried. You can find step-by-step instructions for pairing the iPhone 4 with the Cruiser here: http://www.jabra.com/Sites/Mobile/NA-US/support/pages/pairingguide.aspx

I have a fairly new iPhone 4 with iOS 5 - Bluetooth has never worked on this phone and I feel like getting a refund. I like to use bluetooth for - handsfree, connecting to my Sony Vaio, my iPad 2 and my iMac - all of these devices should EASILY be able to be connected via Bluetooth. All other phones I have had in the past have done this easily. Anyone know what to do? Apple, wanna send me a new phone?

I just wanted to pitch in here and say I was having the same problem...not able to pair a Jabra Extreme bluetooth on an IPhone4. I was however able to connect after I choose the option to "forget this device" on all the other bluetooth devices I had paired before. You must go to general settings and choose bluetooth option and then each device separately to do this. I know this doesnt help others wanting to pair multiple devices.

Just got a new iphone 4 was having a bit of trouble connecting my cheap blue tooth ear pieces, however they are now paired & connect automatically when they are switched on, got into the blue tooth setting switched on my ear piece & they paired but not connected, so i tapped on the screen where the device was indicated & the phone asked for code, which was 0000 and hey presto everything fired up, computers are not really my thing so if i can do it anybody can, good luck
