I have an phone 7 and an iPhone 6 Plus that is not updated and I tried putting my SIM card in it but it won’t activate how to I change that

It isn’t clear what you are trying to do. Are you putting a SIM in the 6 Plus or the 7? Is it a SIM that has worked in the past? Does it still work on either phone? What is the message you get when it doesn’t work?

I am putting a SIM that works from my iPhone 7 to the 6 plus. But the iPhone 6 Plus was restarted and I am not able to get back into it. It says that it could not be activated because the server cannot be reached.
