None of your suggested steps applies to this situation, as Mr. Allen said there is no means to see if the iPhone is hacked, especially if jailbroken. Your steps solely apply to going to websites and malwarebytes for the iPhone does not search across the iPhone for malware or hacks.
Thank you!! Now I’ve got some general direction. I suppose....
So another question there’s no way of like plugging it in to another computer and it seeing if it’s been messed with or do I have to go to that kind of extreme to fix this glitchy thing?
Oh, It’s all about about Security & Privacy and is not a reply for the OP, but, rather for, Annoyed406.
Don’t know about the “406” part. But Montana is a big state in the U.S. — an it is entirely the 406 area code. So, something is annoyingly going on.
You can do a spotlight search for the word Cydia which will tell you if you have been jailbroken using that product.
Glitchy is not a technical term. What sort of non-hacked problems are you having?
And you asked to be sure, the steps I listed will ensure it. If you are not willing to take them then you really aren't very concerned about it.
I do apologize I’m just frustrated trying to get a clear answer I do thank you for your help though. LOL honestly I can see where I am coming off as annoying but you don’t know how many times I have asked this question today throughout these forms and over the phone.

You were given clear answers you didn't like. Different thing altogether.
Not annoying. Not listening. Different thing altogether.
Yes, and you are basically spamming the forum. You cannot get precise answers when you use terms like "acting glitchy", the phone is "acting funny", etc. You need to use the phone again and then list precisely what it is doing that you don't think it should and include any relevant error messages, etc.
I can believe you 100%.... in my case scenario mines much worse an it’s not my neighbor better yet children father an the rest of the idiots he hired whom team tagging against me.... literally draining every account consist of money that I have including my teenage daughter who just landed feet on the ground to start fresh with this wicked world
There are no hackers on your phone. PERIOD. END OF SUBJECT. If you continue to believe that your phone is hacked you will never find the actual cause of your problem.
Actually, that’s nonsense. Your boyfriend should offer his services to the FBI. The last time they wanted to hack an iPhone they had to pay the hacking company $1 million.
So can any of you people point any of us that are a little concerned about The privacy of our personal devices in the right direction??!
Yes. Don't worry about it.
Your paranoia is unfounded.
My question is what are the necessary steps to check and verify that my phone hasn’t been tampered with or hacked.
She thinks her phone has been hacked, your steps would not impact that. Nor would Malwarebytes. As for 406 I have no idea what you are referring to.
